  • General Assembly 1 Market Street Sydney, NSW, 2000 Australia (map)

About This Class

In our culture of 24/7 connectivity, taking a step back and resting the mind is vital to re-energise. Successful and happy people know just being busy all the time will lead to missed opportunities and lack of clarity and insight. You need mental space to be creative and focused. Join GA's own careers coach and resident yogi, Charlotte Messervy for a talk and guided mindfulness exercise that will explore different Mindfulness tools that can help us to stay present, resourceful and resilient in our digital age. If you're a busy professional looking to become more mindful in 2018, this free class is for you!

  • Discover what mindfulness is, and what all the fuss is about

  • Find ways to consciously connect & disconnect with today’s abundance of technology and media

  • Pick up tips on developing a regular mindfulness practice that’s fun, relaxing and energising

About the Instructor

Charlotte Messervy is a GA Career Coach during business hours and a yoga and meditation teacher in her free time. With an empathetic approach, she helps others thrive in and out of the office.

Having worked in a range of organisations from corporate to startup, Charlotte is able to draw from a variety of professional experience. In addition, Charlotte traveled around the world solo in 2014, during which she learned about the power of courage, mindfulness, and self-awareness. Ultimately, she decided to marry her business acumen to her love of personal development - enter career coaching. Through her time at GA, Charlotte has worked with close to one hundred people, to help them find clarity and confidence in their own job searches.

Charlotte’s approach is mindful yet practical, with an emphasis on clear communication and personal accountability. Please join her workshops relating to career navigation and finding fulfilment, or get in touch to learn about her upcoming classes and retreats.
